When thinking of classic staples for a man’s wardrobe, an oxford cloth button-down shirt is right near the top of the list. As he was designing our version for the store, owner Jim Ockert wanted to fuse a modern twist into an otherwise conservative piece by opting for a placketless French-front, a smaller, softer button-down collar, a split-yoke back, and a shorter body length. These are right at home when paired with with a crispy knit tie and a blue blazer for that ivy trad look, but work just as well when worn with denim and rolling the sleeves up.
